Yeah, you do. At least within 1 of 3 valleys. I doubt many other forum users have any clue.

I can't believe the number of people who know EXACTLY where I live when I give out a general idea and mention my driveway is the last one before the pavement ends. How do so many end up going up my podunk county road?

I live in the middle of nowhere. Seriously. As I was saying to someone last night: our internet choices are dialup, satellite, or DSL. And DSL JUST came in last year!

And, I am a SAHM, so... I think that qualifies as "laid back lifestyle"

Are you in the U.P?

We got DSL 3 years ago.

Do you have cell service? We had none until 5 years ago. AT&T came first, but only when you walked up the hill to a high spot and it was still spotty at best. Verizon went in last year.

There is a definite look of confusion when people pull out their phone and see no service at all.

Yeah, that was less specific than you were leading me to believe.

hmmmm, I'm a city girl at heart BUT I like to be at home too
I'm quite happy going out a few nights a month

but when I'm actually in central London I love it - there's a buzz about a big city that just floats my boat, love the anonymity, the people, the sights, the oddballs, the noise

You are a dinosaur!

j/k

I do love to chill (and grill) at home. Love lounging in the pool with some cold beers......spread on the tanning oil............crank up the tunes..........and relax.

I think I get a little carried away with the pics sometimes....I asked my husband this morning what the name of the thing was & did a google image search ....I'm playing shy I guess. But thank you!

Now you are a brave one, the real name of the street you live on. Oh my! I won't even put that on my FB, I don't even want the city on there.

I've met several dozen people in person that I originally met online. Given the nature of this forum, I don't think I'm going to do that much with people here.

I won't be putting how to find me out on any forum that is public, but once I get to know people I don't mind.

I have only met 1 person in my life -from online, I found her on a C-section forum.. I was having my 4th son, she was having her 6th or 7th (I lost count)... at the time I was I was having yet another boy...and she had all sons too, we start chatting and here she only lived 35 minutes away!! So we got our families together, took our slew of kids halloweening, did an amusement park..visited each others houses.....ironically we both got pregnant with our 1st girls at the same darn time, that was so exciting.... we were literally tickled pink! Have pics of our bellies & all....

But yeah, the nature of THIS site... that could be terribly terribly embarrassing. We tend to spill it ALL here. I figure out of 7 Billion People on the globe, noone we personally know is going to stumble upon us here. Those who know ME really well though, just reading a few of my posts, they'd have me pegged - Oh yeah!
