Awhile back, I started a thread that was meant to introduce people to music from all over the world. Let me reel it in some, the thread didn't do very well.
I want to share my "softer side" and share some of my favorite non-metal tunes. There are many beleive it or not.
It would be cool for anyone who is interested to post some of their favorite artists or songs for everyone to hear. C'mon, it will be fun!
This song is sung by Bruce ****inson, the lead singer of Iron Maiden. I know a lot of people don't like metal, and this is not metal, it's very pretty actually. I think some of you will like it.

I could give you a never ending list...
But....
I mostly listen to K-Pop, J-Pop, and Dubstep....
But if you don't mind listening to another language without understanding, there is beautiful melodies and instrumentals underneath....
But an Korean artist (who sings in english) has some good songs....
Her name is Utada Hikura, she did a collaboration with a popular artist named Neyo.... Which they edited her out when they released his album...
But can't find it on YouTube, anyways...
Re: Oh Great, Endlessgrief is starting another music thread
Oooo, Gaia has some funk in her trunk. Funky stuff. I have never heard of that band or that song. That is what this thread is all about. Now let's dance . . .
Here is one of my favorite songs that I will listen to over and over and over. I was introduced to this band in a heavy metal forum. If not for someone telling me about them, I wouldn't know they existed.
You are right Dolly. I hate hip hop, rap, anything to do with rap culture, etc. But that doesn't mean I am not open to hearing some of your favorite songs. Who knows? I may like one, it never hurts to hear new stuff.

I must admit, I do like Will Smith. His music isn't "gansta." When I saw his video on MTV all those years ago "Parents Just Don't Understand" it was my favorite. Hilarious!
Dolly, in this thread, I am going to be posting my favorite songs that are NOT metal since I am the only turd in the punchbowl.
I must admit, I like Jump Around, the beat is great and I love the piano, however, I do not like that high pitched sound they use. What the hell is that?

This is my favorite song by Blind Guardian. For those of you who don't know, Blind Guardian is a power metal band, loud, fast and brutal. This song is anything but those things and so pretty.
That is why I love TAM. Where on earth would I ever get a chance to hear an acoustic Asian version of Enter Sandman!
Are you Korean or do you just gravitate that way? You mentioned you liked Motorhead which is extremely heavy. If you wanted to discover a new band, what kind of music would you like it to be?
