Breakfast, lunch, dinner, in that order. Snacks in between, desert after dinner...

Tea is a drink, best on ice, with enough sugar mixed in that a spoon will stand in the cup.

Is this correct ??
Yeah! That's true! It comes from a cup of tea, transmogrified over the years to a cuppa tea, then cuppa!

Or pudding, instead of desert. Once heard in restaurant: "Oh! I think I'll have a pudding from the desert menu!"

Aha! Also in the Midlands.

It can cause confusion, as in: "Will you brew a cuppa, please?"

similar deal here. My employer is starting up my relocation process, so my wife reminded me that we need to tear out a wall to replace the old, damaged drywall. We get a considerable bonus if the relo company can sell the home within a few months. Watching the Walking Dead marathon while taping the new drywall. Taking monday off to help my wife paint.
