Hedgehog update. After I turned the computer off, I fully opened the upstairs window. It was after 1am, so was very dark in the garden.
There were, I realised, two hedgehogs. Mr & Mrs Hedgehog who were getting down to it in our garden. Heavy breathing, a little squeak from one of them.
I closed the window and left them to their privacy! Bless!

i have plenty of frogs, slugs and snails but not seen any hedgehogs this year, maybe they're not having to roam far for food.
