Average is good, in fact even lower would be better - I realized this weekend that there are real benefits to having low IQ, being stupid is actually shear genius. My buddy is the "AMOG" and very successful, people respect him so much because when issues come up he always manages to take care of business and impress everyone. The ladies love him, the men want to be him. Of course I see through it all because I always have so much gawd damn forethought to see that the problems were caused by his poor choices in the first place. And it is like that in almost every social circle I see.
For instance, yesterday he invited me out on his boat - when we got to the lake we noticed the tires were shredded, treads torn right off. both holding air but obviously not going to get us back to town - he insists they will, he's driven on treadless tires before. Only one spare, I'm thinking lets get this taken care of now, he's got all kinds of contacts, send someone to walmart and pick up another spare on the rim. Nope better to just get the boat in the water, spend all day having fun and then deal with it. Of course, when it comes time to drive home all the stores are closed, being sunday night... middle of nowhere with two blown tires and only one spare. Four hours to get home, boat and trailer on back of a flatdeck, he called everyone he knew to help but what can they do (maybe he should have called around earlier), and of course he is the hero cause he made it and didn't have to leave his boat on the side of the highway (only cost a $200 tow). Sheesh! But then he is the one who owns a boat while I can't afford one, so who's the smart one??
Being the AMOG in your realm is a good thing. Really smart guys can be AMOGs. BUT AMOGS are usually more than just smart.
I don't believe women in general are attracted to a man with a high IQ. Guys with a high IQ can be like those in the Big Bang Theory.
Now I do think women can be attracted to a man with a high IQ IF he turns it into something tangeable. Like he uses his intelligence to make a high income. Or he uses it to be the AMOG or otherwise control resources. Knowledge is power as they say. Power can be sexy. But it depends. Many high IQ folks are unable to make this ability work for them.
Look, the high school QB is going to have a lot of chicks even if he is dumber than a bag of hammers. BUT, if he is smart too he has a better future and maintaining his status.
Like any generalities ... YMMV.
The person who invents is often not the one to benefit. The guy that exploits that effort gets the goodness ... and the women. Just sayin.

My friend is smart by playing dumb, or else he is just dumb and has fooled everyone into thinking he's intelligent - but I as effective as he is at being the leader of his realm I sure see him make a lot of seemingly unintelligent choices, as I seem to notice among most people that are the leaders of their realm. (it's almost as if they are deliberately setting themselves up for a challenge, just to challenge themself). It's like they know how to use stupidity to take control of a situation.

Yep. Got it. Also on the website in question is the reference to the article that states that women do not like men with high IQs. They surveyed female 10s to determine this. I think they were models. The concluded that high IQ guys were not attractive ....

Surveys like that are so out of wack! I for one prefer intelligence. I have dated the all brawn and no brain pretty types before lol. Ugh I hate how they base their results on such limited tests. Posted via Mobile Device

And also - you DID date the brawny dumb ones after all, so maybe there is something to the quiz.

well either way, the brawny dumb ones had more game cause they got to go on a date with you.
I think if I had to choose between being all brains or all brawn, I would definitely go with the latter.
