Default Daft things to pray for

When I met my wife, she was ill with several ailments, Asthma, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Diabetes 2.

So, seeing as I was so in love with her, I prayed to God to give me half of each of her ailments to ease the burden on her.

Guess what? Yep. I developed fairly mild versions of all of the above ailments and my wife's ailments did ease somewhat.

That was phase 1.

Didn't work, so I tried phase 2.

I bet I'm not the only wife on here who wishes she had a husband as daft as you!

We should all share the burdens of those we love.

She was hurting so bad yesterday with her arthritis that I said the same prayer.

After 23 years, I still love her very much. Don't always show it, perhaps, but she's my special lady.

Reading this made me feel quite weepy but in a good way because even if you cannot take away the physical pain, it must be a great mental support for her to have someone who cares.

sincere best wishes to you both.
