Default back yard wild life

So a friend put up a camera in her back yard to see what kind of wild life visited her water tank on a regular basis. I'll be sharing some photos here.

The photos she sent were much larger. I had to cut them down in size to post them here.

They obviously cannot let their dogs out unattended.

My skunks come by every night at 10pm on the dot. They spray proactively. When their sent wiffs into our house, the dogs run out to see the skunks.. it's a nightly summer ritual.

They are definately a lot less threatening then the big cats and bear is guess.

Oh yuck... That has to be HORRIBLE!!! That's only happened to me once and it was the worst thing ever, I thought the smell would never go away. Luckily my dogs get anything on them but the smell in the house was terrible...

My dogs have only gotten the spray on them once. It was a week I was out of town.. they gave my husband hell... the two males kept running away, he found them up to their neck 'swimming' in a field that had just been irrigated, then they got skunked, then they ran away again and ended up in doggy jail (the pound).

I guess they missed me and figured they would give him a run for the money.

Other than the one time those two nuts got skunked, the skunks just spary the air. We have an acre yard so the smell is not as bad as it could be. The skunks always travel along the back in the irrigation ditches.

Wow, your friend has some great wild life in her back yard. I have a trail cam up too. I love the surprise when I put the sd card in the computer. I get mostly deer and a couple of foxes. I was going through the pictures in January and got a coyote. That's the extent of it. My dog got into a fight with a raccoon last year. Boy that raccoon did some damage. They like to chase the squirrels and chipmunks, but never caught one. They did catch a groundhog once but I was able to call them off before they hurt it.

I would love that kind of wild life your friend has.
