so my final project for my essay writing class is to write an essay about tattoos and piercings. the angle for my essay is why tattoos and piercings are more socially acceptable, yet not in the workplace (unless you have an unconventional job). I would like to know some of your thoughts and opinions on the subject. if anything this will be a good conversation starter.

I think that they are more acceptable in modern work places. I work for a wind power company, and we have plenty of people with both tatoos and piercings.
