Re: Keurig Coffee Machine

I used to love the "Dark Magic" one for Kuerig but about 2 months ago my doctor had me switch to de-caf for health reasons, and so happily I found me some "Dark Magic" De-caf" and have switched to that.

Not strong enough. My 4 cup espresso machine makes one cup.

I have not seen the pumpkin spice kind.

Re: Keurig Coffee Machine

I did receive my K-cup coffee order yesterday using the coupon from when I registered my Keurig (buy 2, get 2 free). A very good deal for packages containing 24 cups vs. 12 cups at the grocery store. I got 2 Chai Latte boxes and 2 Tully's Hawaiian Blend!

Re: Keurig Coffee Machine

Anyone using the reusable cups? I swear future generations are going to see the striations in the earth and the first layer of the century will be water bottles and the second will be keurig cups.

Re: Keurig Coffee Machine

Every time I see "reusable cup" I keep thinking of my ex's Diva cup for some reason.

One of my neighbors recycles nothing; says it's too much trouble. Like it won't be too much trouble to wade through knee-high trash someday. Cardboard, paper, plastic bottles, everything gets thrown away. Makes me angry and crazy!

So, I tried an experiment just now. Brewed my coffee, then peeled off the foil lid. Rinsed the grounds, and inside is a mini paper liner. The outside is plastic. Nothing there that won't recycle, I think. I put it in the bin.
cool... my city has finally implemented a recycling pickup service - a couple years ago a decent private company finally did a rollout program where you just throw everything into one bin and their machinery sorts it all out at the recycling plant, but it was about $10 a month. That same company won the contract, so now every home is getting a rollout bin (mine comes at the end of the month) and our taxes go up by about $4/mo to recover the cost.

Until now recycling was more difficult than trashing everything, because you had to sort it, store it and take it all in to a recycling depot - or else pay private company, and before the rollout bin the only other curbside company in town charged $20/mo and had a lousy system where the wind would just blow all the stuff at the curb away before their truck got there.

Now I am excited because life is going to get just a little bit easier!
