done loads of places, but the benefits of the cruise are if you dont like a place , you get back on the ship.
weve done loads of places around the med.
morroco, rome, spain, france, italy, turkey, gibraltar, monte carlo, venice, corsica, slovenia, croatia, greece, dubrovnic, corfu, madeira to name but a few.
i doubt the norway ffords cruise is free, but if it was id b first in queue.
we went to new zealand for a month when my son was 2, had a fab time and stunning hol, but realised i was a home girl.
plus we lost our son on the plane- nightmare.
honey , just book that cruise and go.
when it comes to next yr cruise. doing it so long - we like the staying for a day and moving on. you can stil do alot. were also going to as part of the cruise - tortola, st lucia and barbados.
at sea and back to do some spain itinery.
just find them really relaxing holidays and the boys love kids club.
so spoilt.

I would take a crusie, but the kids want to go to Disney.
Could do a Disney Cruise sometime. I want to go to a beautiful Island somewhere and never come back. lol

to honey - no its not.

to mommy22 - its just one of those quaint places.
the gondolas - although they can be swept away in the current.
but look down every street, well it was water and adorable bridges.

we went to ireland for the weekend a few yrs ago- to dublin.
again busy but different. the way buildings were made. totally different to us in wales.
i like architecture and history. its fasinating.

so when is your next holiday?

when my eldest was 7 and youngest 4, we took the boys to lapland (yep father christmas) - but after that we didnt take a hol for 18 months ( our 1st taste of cruising).
i vowed never again to not take a break from this country. thats why we have to holiday atleast once a year.
18months is to long. work is stressful . i sincerely believe ppl work to hard.

Aside from a few tropical locations, I haven't done a lot of traveling (you know the typical tourist locations like bahamas, mexico, jamaica). How about Spain? Did you enjoy that? Where in Europe would you recommend as a must-see for an American?
Are you going to Disney Land Or Disney World? Disney Land is in CA. Disney World is bigger and it is in FL. Anway, if you stay at one of the Disney resorts, what ever you buy at any one of the 4 parks, you don't have to carry it around, hun. You fill out a paper and it will be waiting for you at your gift shop (at you repsort) the next day after 12 moon (I think), well if the times didn't change..that's it.

Have a nice time and say hello to Mickey for me.

Don't forget to use Fast Pass while you are there. You come back to a ride within the time that they give you, and you don't have to wait as long.

Oh, and you will be a kid again, hun. They treat you so well while you are there.

You will post to me and tell me how you like it, won't you?

Your kids will love it. Mine went to sleep there with smiles on their faces the first time I went there. Priceless !

i would love disney for the colour. i hate rides. bad experiences.
but hubby not into riding the plane to america.
as part of the med cruises, there is lots of places in spain we went, malaga, cartagena, menorca, minorca etc etc. most were nice but no matter where you went, someone got mugged or hurt.
i think this for a lot of places. thats why we feel safe on the ship.
in rome the trafic dont stop, wil kill you first.
this went for a lot of places.
but i went on a girl week a few yrs ago - majorca - 2 hr flight from uk. just nice to get away from rubbish weather.
a must see for an american - my guess london . simply for the expense. if you want a picturesque place - wales.

I got on Space Mountain and thought I was going to die. You should have seen the girls wanting to nurse me back to health. LOL I shouldn't have went on it that day, I wasn't feeling right and that made it worse. The first time I got on a roller coaster, I was real young, and I came off of it walking like a drunk person.

I like animals, so I like the Amimal Kingdom too. I like The Lion King Show, and my kids did too.

i suppose theres nice and bad places.
after i completed my training- your told the world is your oyster, loads of times i split up with hubby over wanting to work abroad.
Both our children were planned. after our 1st child was born , we had the chance to go to new zealand.
on our journey around the north island, i realised i liked home life.
but felt there was more to the world than just the vale of glamorgan
so i cant complain. ive seen and done lots . a nice balance came at that time.
as for rollorcoasters - we got stuck on a ride at alton towers. it was called the beast and we were right on the edge. i didnt want to go on in the first place- pushed myself and after that i said never again - i was 19. watching the men walk up and around the coaster in harnesses - well i screamed and panicked so hard.
a few weeks later on the news a cart derailed in a theme park about 1/2 hr away drive (porthcawl) and the 11 yr old boy got killed.
my phobia worsened as did the stories.
at alton towers, a new ride at the time- i think it was called oblivion - well the girl who was 19 fell out from a height of about 50 ft and died. as the coaster chair was going around a bend the bar that comes down , just detached.
nah not for me.

I heard a while back that a boy 13 died on The Rock N Roll Roller Coaster. I don't now if it was a heart problem they didn't know of, or it scared him to death. From what I heard .. when the coaster stoped, the father got off, looked back at his son, his son was not moving. I feel for this man and his family. My son rode that one before, and if this was him, I would go nuts.

yeh not just by the sheer stupidity of our actions, but from our parents.
i was 13 and we got a train up to the valleys.
my mates grandparents wouldnt let us stay over (really odd).
it was late when we arrived , so we kipped in a school doorway.
it was freezing that night. all we had was jackets.
so to keep warm we ran around the school yard a million times.
A gang of boys were around and to be honest we were lucky nothing happened to us. when i look back , how stupid, but then you just dont know as a kid.

i never broke no bones though, so what were you doing!
mmm.
