I see some people do this, and it is very nice but for the life of me, I can not figure out how to do this! Even with 2 others trying to explain this to me in a private message.

I recently made a Photobucket account (is this necessarry??) , been trying to use those codes (but not sure which one out of about 10 different codes or so) and that little box with that mountain thing in it -that asks for a URL for an image. But all I keep getting is those little boxes with a small red X inside-instead of the image I want. (Been testing this sending myself PM's to see if/when I can figure this out). Getting very frustrating.

I am totally lost, but would love to use this feature.

I think I finally got it now -using PhotoBucket.

Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket Go here, make an account, start adding any pictures you want to use anywhere on the net- on this site. Then depending on the size of the picture, you may need to RESIZE it on Photobucket....this resizing tool has changed a few times since I have been here, so hard to explain...just monkey with it ....

ONce you have the picture the size you want to use- save it , name it, then double click on it -on the left it should have a box with codes under "Share this image", scroll down and copy & paste the IMG CODE directly into your post here on this forum. No need to use that small box mountain thing I was talking about, that is what I was doing wrong. Still dont' know what that is for ?

(OR)... another way to explain....when you hover over any Picture you have saved in Photobucket you will notice this drop down Box with 6 options....

Glad you figured it out!

It is most easy when, like you say, you use a hosting source like Photobucket or Flickr or one of the many others.

The "mountain" icon is simply adding the "img" code and brackets automatically for you. This is just to save you a step, but does nothing different than you are already doing by cut and pasting the img code.

Hope you are doing well. I am not on this board as much lately as my work and family life is very busy, although some of it is a "good busy" as we just got back from vacation a few weeks ago so not complaining.
