Re: Lev Parnas........

I think he is a slime ball that is currently turning over all of his slime ball dealings with other slime balls.

Re: Lev Parnas........

Looks like our corrupt government is doing it's best to stop any ability of the President to defend himself. This guy was arrested for allegedly trying to funnel money into the Republican party election coffers.

This guy and a friend who have dual citizenship, were helping Giuliani to gather evidence of corruption in the democratic party.

We cannot trust the FBI, CIA, or any other group. They have proven their partisanship.

Can we trust Giuliani and that guy from Connecticut who made donations to Trump's campaign and was planning to run for a House seat?

If Trump has done nothing wrong, he should want all the evidence and the witnesses to come forward that want to come forward, because it would clear him. Right?

Trump does.

It's funny how much of his inner circle is now indited, right?

Quote:
Paul Manafort (48/25 counts): Former Trump campaign chairman, former lobbyist for Ukrainian officials; crimes alleged not connected to his work for Trump. Convicted of tax and bank fraud. Oct. 30, 2017 indictment (with Gates): Counts 1-6; 10-12: 9. Feb. 13, 2018 indictment: 18. Feb. 22, 2018 superseding indictment (with Gates): Counts 1-5; 10-14; 24-32: 19. Sept. 14, 2018, superseding criminal information: 2.

Rick Gates (23 counts): Top deputy to Manafort, former lobbyist for Ukrainian officials; crimes alleged not connected to his work for Trump. Pleaded guilty to lying to investigators and financial fraud related to hiding money he earned lobbying for politicians in the Ukraine along with Manafort. Oct. 30, 2017 (with Manafort): Counts 1-2; 7-12: 8. Feb. 22, 2018 superseding indictment (with Manafort) Counts 6-10; 15-32.

Roger Stone (7 counts): Longtime adviser; Trump campaign official dispatched Stone to get information from WikiLeaks about the thousands of hacked Democratic emails in an effort to damage Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. Convicted of obstructing a congressional inquiry, lying to investigators under oath and trying to block the testimony of a witness whose account would have exposed his lies.

Michael Cohen (1 count): Longtime Trump lawyer and adviser. Pleaded guilty to a series of criminal charges, including a campaign finance law violation that implicated the president but was unrelated to the Russia interference investigation.

George Papadopoulos (1 count): Campaign adviser on foreign policy to Trump. Pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his efforts to put the Trump campaign in contact with Moscow.

Michael Flynn (1 count): Campaign adviser to Trump and then briefly his national security adviser. Indicted Nov. 30, 2017. Pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his discussions with the Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the presidential transition. Flynn and Kislyak had discussed U.S. sanctions against Russia for election meddling.

Because of the various indictments filed against Manafort, one could count a total of 48 charges against him. But ultimately he faced 25 charges: He went on trial for 18 charges (and was found guilty of eight of them) and then faced seven more charges (he pleaded guilty to two).

So, that’s a total of 58 or 81 charges against Trump associates
I suspect Guiliani will soon be added to this list. Here's what Trump says about him:

“So now they are after the legendary ‘crime buster’ and greatest Mayor in the history of NYC, Rudy Giuliani"

Re: Lev Parnas........

If what Joe and Hunter did or didn't do in Ukraine has nothing to do with Trump, why does the crap done by these guys listed above have anything to do with Trump?

What high crime or misdemeanor do the charges in the impeachment suggest Trump committed?

The only actual alleged crime they attempted to prove was proven false by the release of the phone conversation. Nothing else is a crime or even a high misdemeanor.

Re: Lev Parnas........

It has to do with Trump, because Lev brought forth messages from Trump people, saying that with Trump's endorsement, they wanted certain things done.

The phone conversation does not disprove anything, it does not prove anything, but cognitive bias makes both sides see what they want.

Trump attempted to misuse taxpayers's funds. I thought Republicans would be concerned about the misuse of their money.

Cool Re: Lev Parnas........

Lev Parnas = John Dean!

~ I do believe that with the treasure trove of documentation and revelations from the SDNY, that he and his attorney now has to confirm, let's just say that the proverbial operatic fat lady is busy tuning up her vocal cords! And just like John Dean, Lev Parnas is turning a Federal witness to lighten his own jail time!

Trump, Pence, Barr, Giuliani, Perry, Pompeo, Nunes, and the placating GOP now has a right to be gravely concerned!

But will Moscow Mitch and Leningrad Lindsay and the rest of that placating GOP majority finally pull their heads out of the despotic dirt and party loyalty long enough to even listen?

They likely will not get the requisite 67 votes in the Senate needed for conviction and removal of DJT, but they will fail to get the 51 needed for defrayal of matters of procedure, admission of evidence, pertinent witnesses and the rule of law! Chief Justice John Roberts will be anything but a GOP potted plant in the Senate Chamber!

And with that alone, Tuesday, November 3rd will likely be a sad day of reckoning for most GOP'ers seeking re-election, greatly provided that they're even bold enough to run!

Unless, of course, that Comrade Vladimir chooses to interject himself into it once again!

"To love another person is to see the face of God!" - Jean Valjean from Les Miserables

Re: Lev Parnas........

Parnas was also coordinating with Devin Nunes who just a couple of months claimed to not remember his name even phone records showed Nunes and Parnas had communicating with one another.

Let's look at the scorecard here:

Giuliana gets paid by a Russain oligarch.

Manafort used to get paid by a Russian oligarch.

Kevin McCarthy joked that Dana Rohrbacher, a former Gop House of Rep from California who lost in 2018, was getting pid by the Russians ........

who else is Putin planning to turn into a Russian oligarch?

You have the 'phone conversation?

Can you link to it please.

All I've seen is a summary of what might, or might not, have been said - and even then the incompetent/devious compiler pretty much hung Trump out to dry with what was released didn't they.

More about why Parnas matters.

I love that somehow, Nunes suddenly remembers talking to him, now that there is proof he did.

For as much as some people love conspiracy theories about Dems, how is it hard to believe what is actually happening and is coming more and more into focus.

Somehow 2nt has turned all of this into a Dem conspiracy to get all these really noble republicans off their trail....what a joke.
