I have been going to the same eyebrow person now for 7 years. I had an appointment today but for reasons beyond either of our control, had to be cancelled. She doesn't have another availability for weeks. I have a singles event I am going to on Monday night. My girlfriend recommended her eyebrow lady who was available today. I asked this new lady to just "clean up" my eyebrows. She waxed them pencil thin and one eyebrow is thinner than the other. I actually started crying at the salon. It has taken me YEARS to get my eyebrows where they look good and natural. It's going to take me forever to get them back to where they were. I am so pissed at myself. I have canceled my reservation for the event Monday. This blows.
Oh god dammit! WHY!?!

So sorry. This sucks. Worse than a too short hair cut.

Yes, but you don't know what's going on with him. He may be feeling really upset and just doesn't want to talk about it. I don't blame you for feeling upset about being ghosted. That's never a good place to be in and I would be upset too, if I were you.

What Iíve learned today, stay married and be thankful I can run my beard clipper over my eyebrows.

Sorry to hear that @Ms. Hawaii and @Lila.

I know!!!! Now I'm debating whether to thin the fatter one out to match the thinner one or just pencil in the hair until it grows back. Ugh!!!!

I would say just pencil them (that is if they take a while to grow).

I'm getting my hair done now (different place...been seeing my colorist for 14 years), then headed to Ulta. Maybe they can show me how to pencil them in. It's a P.I.T.A.

Thereís a place near my business that advertises something called microblading for eyebrows. They have some before and after photographs in the window and it seems to be just what you need. It seems to be some sort of temporary tattoo.
I canít believe Iím advising someone to get a tattoo lol.

I had to look up microblading but Wow! Those before and after eyebrows look awesome.

I'm not sure about doing something like that now but maybe after the eyebrows grow back just to fill them in. They actually feather in each individual eyebrow hair.

Re: What's on your mind - Part 2

Going to try out the new Will Smith movie tonight.

Hope it is better than it looks.

The previews look good but I haven't seen a great movie in a long time.

Re: What's on your mind - Part 2

I'm trying to decide on how lazy I should be tomorrow. I feel like I've more than run myself into the ground at work. Lately, I feel like I've been 'babysitting' co-workers who aren't doing their jobs and putting out fires that they started. It's frustrating to say the least.

@TheDudeLebowski Hope is rarely out with me. I am optimistic and deal with outcomes to the best of my ability--recognizing that God is in charge.

@Lila--you are lovely inside and out--much more than eyebrows, although I do understand your pain in this regard. I know someone who found her SO because of the way she dealt with a 'looks crisis'--he admired her depth and courage.
