I wasn't offended by your comment. just wanted to say that my relationship with my wife is not that hard to understand...

Imagine a best friend. Someone you have fun with, love to spend time with, get in trouble with, etc. Then imagine having sex with them.

You have a close lesbian friend you lived with for a while, right? Imagine if she wanted to have sex with you from time to time(before you met your wife). Your relationship with her would have been a little bit different, but probably not by much.

It's kinda like that.

A big stress relief for me today, part of my job is flavoring products. Every time we launch a new product, I get stressed. It is like I just made a meal for thousands people, and I have to wait days to see if it was good.

So far, so good!

Traffic has been a major ***** today. On the road for over 5 hours now. Should have been a 4.5 hour drive. Highways shut down and all the rest of it. Just a PITA day. I guess literally nothing worth a **** comes easy. Even when you think it will something happens pretty much always.

Re: What's on your mind - Part 2

So... my wife found out today that she has either an infection, or her body is doing that annoying thing again where it just decides to attack itself. Its threatening to cause an incision to open up, and is likely a large part of the reason she was bleeding Wednesday. Apparently it is a very rare complication with hystorectomies, but could potentially result in... vaginal bowel evisceration.

Since her white blood cell counts are chronically high, we can't rely on them to accurately indicate infections. They are actually a bit lower right now then they have been in a while.

I am so thankful that she is covered under tricare... having health insurance has saved us a couple million dollars worth of debt.

If anyone is interested in Texas and US history, I'm in the Menger Bar right now. Pretty freaking cool! I feel like a Rough Rider after today's ride here

You aren't that far from lowake. If you want some of the best steak you have ever had, look up lowake steak house. If you haven't been and you like steak, you won't regret it.

Re: What's on your mind - Part 2

Iím in Orlando on honeymoon and we went to SeaWorld today.
There were thunderstorms all day and we left at about three pm.Never seen any whales or dolphins and only rode a couple of coasters.
One thing did strike me as highly inappropriate though.
They were serving fish in the restaurant!

Which was more inappropriate:
That you ordered fish or that they served you the fish that you ordered? lol

I hope you two are having a lovely time together.

Re: What's on your mind - Part 2

Amazing night. Tool concert with my old man. Show was incredible! Played a couple of my favorites. We got shirts and all that fun stuff. Sitting next to your dad while people around you are smoking weed and jamming out is hilarious! Then we went out for food and a drink. Well he had a drink. I had a few of them. As well as a few at the concert.

All of that, and the best part is just being with my dad again. Hanging out. Shooting the ****. Talking about our lives with each other. I've not been the best son in the world that's for sure. Doesn't matter now though. New beginnings and connections are all I'm about. Doesn't matter how they work out, it just matters that I keep at it.

Back at the hotel now. We got separate rooms. Just reflecting on a great night before bed. You TAM folks helped me reach this point. Thank you all for everything, and for just being my friend. Means so much to me, words wont justify it.
