Re: What's for dinner?

I put a roast in the crock pot and my daughter is going to put the potatoes and carrots in when she gets home from school.

Chicken fricassee, electricity permitting.

Last night's dinner was sushi with a girlfriend.

Tonight, Dad is coming over......might make a big pot of sketti!

Re: What's for dinner?

Chicken dumplings in a green curry sauce. Quite easy to do, most of the fiddly bits were making and chilling the dumplings.

Did it with a special fried rice.

You're telling me!

Man that first bite was like a dog buscuit or something. The whole cookie was so sweet and salty and delishiously white trashy even Paula Dean wouldn't touch it.

I won't share with you how much I ate, but I hate myself for eating them.

On the plus side it looks like I have a successful recipe for homemade dog/man treats.

Re: What's for dinner?

I have other non traditional cookie recipes I've been playing around with too. Like the protein cookies made with protein powder and no flour or sugar - I finally nailed these down after playing around with different fiber sources and stevia.

A couple of ideas I have for new adult cookie flavors...... ALL WITH BOOZE!!!!!

-Red wine and chocolate
-Tequila lemon
-Vanilla whipped cream vodka and potatoe chip
-Beer and buttery pretzels

Guy scout cookies

Yum yum.

You're a messy chef too love it! Just don't like the clean up after

What do you put in your rice?

I normally do a couple of eggs in the bottom of the wok, rice, sweetcorn, peas, spring onions (scallions?), prawns/shrimp and flavoured chicken. Sometimes a little pork too but like to mix it a bit.
