Lions were 3/13 on third down and only got 13 first downs the entire game. But I mean, those bad calls sucked too.

Absolutely agree with you. The Packers weren't exactly lighting the world on fire either. This year is stacking up to be a strange season. I mean, it's no longer just the Browns that suck. It's the Dolphins, Bengals, Redskins, Chargers, Broncos Ö But the officiating goes from calling everything holding to ignoring obvious holding.

Gawd.

I refuse to make anyone a priority in my life who considers me nothing more than an option.

You can't start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one.

Don't forget the Falcons are stinking up the place as well. May be another whole generation before they can be good again. I don't think the current batch is capable of getting over handing that Lombardi to Brady & Co.

Re: Who's Ready for Some Football?

The problem with officiating, all the good officials retired and took jobs with networks and do live commentary about calls with game broadcasters.

I donít know how much they get paid, but maybe they need to structure payment to keep the good ones.

The Packers should not have the record they have. They aren't playing good football and have been fortunate teams are playing worse. Other teams have figured out how to lose more than the green n gold beating an opponent. Luck plays into every season for teams but it only lasts so long.

The officiating was abysmal. It's not like it's one or two bad calls. Human error is part of the game and officiating but it's the volume of phantom penalties and missed calls in every game that's concerning. The league itself isn't helping with tinkering with rules and telling refs to put emphasis on certain calls and the constant micromanaging via replay.

Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday

I love the Pack, but ya those calls against Flowers were bogus. I was impressed with the new guy receiver in the second half though - Lazard. Where did he come from?!

Anyone watch CFL football?

Okay the Chiefs better win tonight. They've been The Big Suck.

My husband is quite proud that I'm talking sports haha. He tries to get me to do the Chiefs Chop (only with home games apparently--I'm learning!) but I feel that might be unPC these days??!!!

They are going against a team that is more pathetic than they are, so yea I would expect a win.

Chiefs fans must be relieved by that win.

Probably no relief until the MRI on Mahomes knee.

Re: Who's Ready for Some Football?

Even as a Bronco fan, I'm wishing the best for Mahomes. He's a very exciting player as well as a class act and the NFL is better off when he's in the game.

Ironically, it was the of maligned Chiefs D that dominated that game. At least in that particular game, I don't think it mattered much who was under center for the Chiefs.
