I've had my share of sex partners between ONS, FWB, and other types of casual arrangement, but less than a handful of relationships as I define relationship.

I’ve had 2 very serious relationships. Lived with both, almost married one and did marry the other. Would have been a disaster to marry the first. Turned out to be a mistake to marry the second but it is what is...got three amazing children from it so I can’t regret it.

Just started seeing someone new...so far so good. Keep your fingers crossed for me

In regards to what I would define as a "Serious" relationship, I've had six:

In two of those (girls #1 and 3), I turned down Marriage proposals from the girls involved.

I turned down an invitation to shack up from girl #2.

Girl #4 could have been the one. She was a Minister, and logistics simply made things impossible.

During a two year relationship, I proposed to girl #5. We lasted six months after that. I pushed her hard to the point where she broke up with me. After the crap she pulled on me (won't get into it,) 1) I wasn't going to give her the satisfaction of playing martyr to her family and 2) I really wanted my ring back.

I met the "Rebound" girl (#6) coming off that relationship 27 years ago. We've been married for 25. Sometimes the rebound person is the one.

I should have clarified that casual dating does not mean casual sexual relationships. I meant it as a catch all for people who I may have started seeing, we enjoyed each other's company, but then for one reason or another, things didn't pan out long term.

Yes and those where in the '90s, more than 20 years ago.

I've out on 1 date since 2012. It was one night/evening and I did it because I wanted to break the ice and see if I could do it again. I made a mistake because I wasn't really attracted to her, but I enjoyed her company and made a friend. So, all good.

I haven't found anyone my age to be attractive. I'm too old for those I do find attractive. It's pretty much over for me. I'll try, but I need to start doing things that I like and seeing if I find someone to date that way.

No sex in this latest one. No sex for many years. Sucks, but what can I do? I'm talking to a psychologist.

Edit: Zero casual sex, ONS, etc. NO sex in many years. That's an issue I have to work on with my psychologist. I have some deep scars from my second marriage.
