Bear in mind most men will observe, maybe think it's just a bit much in certain environments, but, and rightly so will never say anything because it's nice scenery and they're concerned about being accused of being against women's freedoms or being a pervert.

I don't mind, unless maybe if it was brushing against my lunch plate, but even then most likely wouldn't say anything either.

And I see this a lot out in public. Sometimes it's like lingerie but pants, the pants are so thin and tight.
I don't dress like this. I don't think it's really appropriate for church but I've never seen vulva (or labia or clitoris) in church. Or even penis. It's not really for me to say. Since I don't choose to dress this way for myself, I don't think it's appropriate FOR ME. I don't really care to go around judging what's appropriate for other people. It doesn't bother me and I don't give it much thought.

I have no problem with overweight people dressing in revealing clothing as I said.

I'm not sure what you mean about it brushing against your lunch plate. I can't imagine how someone's vulva would brush against your lunch! And how could you not say anything. Like say "excuse me..." and kind of point to their labia and then your lunch, with a kind of "wtf" look on your face???

If you were eating out at a restaurant and saw in peripheral vision someone less that half that distance standing there, and turned your head only to be looking right at the perfect impression of his upright penis In really thin material would think it funny or uncouth?

I just considered it rude and or uncouth.
Not her choose of overall attire but the situation it was chosen to be worn.
I don't really know. It's hard to say with a hypothetical. I don't think that i would think it's rude. I don't know about uncouth. I would probably be too shocked seeing an erect penis in my face in a restaurant that I would laugh nervously and turn quickly away. And then slowly take another look. Just to ensure I wasn't dreaming

LOL. I had to look, and ask my wife if I was seeing things.
I think my wife would have got a kick out of my shock, but was kind of shocks as well.
Kind of funny in hindsight, no puns intended, but gee.

Bodies are bodies people ... we all have them, nothing to see here that you have not seen before so move on. Sorry, I'm not giving up my yoga pants.

P.S. stay out of my (well-known LGBTQ+) city or you will truly get an eye full.

P.P.S. no one is getting arrested for their attire in my city.

Maybe we're all so conditioned to be appalled. In the end, it's all kind of funny really. See you're laughing too. Sex organs are kind of funny when you think about it. The whole idea of sex is pretty funny too. I mean it can be very serious but sometimes when I think about it, i think it's just preposterous.

Perhaps we are.
I just donít want any pudenda around my food regardless of gender.

Other than that full blown nudity wouldnít bother me if itís their choice and itís same standards.

Re: Double standards: Leggings and yoga pants in public

If tastefully presented, and worn with an appropriate top, I see nothing wrong with Yoga Pants or Leggings.
Leggings, IMO, are not pants. They need to be worn with a longer T shirt or a Tunic top.
Unfortunately for all in the general vicinity at the Gym yesterday, there was a Woman who presented as a 6x, who was wearing a pair of what looked like 4X Yoga Pants. It was visually obvious the fabric was straining to engulf the occupant.
If that lycra blew out, someone might have lost an eye.

LMAO.
More and more are wearing half shirts. Even as cold as it was yesterday one wearing yoga pants that wear like a gstring with a half shirt and winter insulated boots.
I was guessing she lost 90% of her body heat through her feet.
Iím feeling ornery today.

I, personally, @red oak, have never worn them. lol

However, you may want to mention something about that table being in a bad place for your appetite and maybe others. It may be a safety issue if folks can get that close to your food. I think the state has inspectors who check out restaurants from time to time to see if they are complying with cleanliness and safety standards set by the state.

Oh yes, that would have gone over well.

The double standard would have kicked in: "I can dress any way I want, but if you notice my body parts, much less mention or point them out, you are a perv."

I don't see it as an issue at all, and I also think public nudity is fine as well. Of which if public nudity were the norm (presuming one is in a climate where one won't freeze to death), people would get used to it and for the most part get over it.

That said I don't find yoga pants or any other sport clothing, does anything to make anyone look sexy at all in the wearing of.

As to people being arrested, I've been spending a lot of time lately at a beach town I used to often frequent. Yet I haven't seen any men or women being arrested for wearing clothing that hides next to nothing, nor have I seen anyone arrested from those who take all of their clothes off at the beach itself.

Thank you for another illustration of "today think".

Nuts.

Whoops, that's "grain legume" or affectionately "goobers".

PS:

"The American Peanut Council does not discriminate in its programs on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability, political beliefs, or marital/family status. (Not all prohibited bases apply to all programs.) Individuals with disabilities who require reasonable accommodations or alternative means of program communication (Braille, large print, audiotape, ASL, Languages).

Jeez what a disclaimer.

It's like McDonald's having to put a warning label on a coffee cup "caution, may be hot".
